2020-05-24 Memorial Day Weekend

Finally able to get out since the COVID-19 ordeal hit! Ohio Governor Mike DeWine opened up most of the state this week including campgrounds on Thursday, May 21 so Carie and I wasted no time making reservation! We went to East Fork State Park near Batavia, OH but our original plan and reservations were at Morgan's Canoe. We had to cancel those plans due to Morgan's being flooded by all the rain we've been getting. And the rain appears to be continuing into this coming week as well with on and off pop-up thunderstorms. The weather has been crazy! Crazy wet! And colder than usual, too, except for finally warming up just this week. So it looks like the warmer weather will be here for the rest of the season, which is great...finally! Although the way things are going this rain may be, too.  :-O
We were at East Fork SP from Thursday through Monday and we had a great time, very relaxing and nice to get out in nature once again. We didn't do much other than hang out and a few convertible rides around the park, the boat ramps and to get ice cream...every day for the ice cream! Bad! Very bad!
We brought the kitties with us, which will likely be a regular thing now. It's pretty cool! Another very cool thing was I worked from the Airstream for a few hours on Thursday after setting up camp. The Airstream factory "Connected" setup partnered with AT&T's unlimited, untethered  data plan worked great! So this may be something I/we can do easily now as long as we have a good AT&T signal from whatever campground we're in.
Enjoy the pictures!

 Yay! Camping again!!!
Carie & Gracie lounging in the Airstream...

A view to the right...busy!
A view to the left...also busy, however, the site right beside us was unoccupied all weekend.

Our Stanley blowers came in handy in the heat on Sunday!
