2017-08-05 Kentucky Horse Park

Well a second trip this season to the KY Horse Park. This time it was for a smooth jazz concert onsite at the park featuring Paul Jackson Jr., Jeff Lorber & Everette Harp. We went with friends John & Suzie.

So I pull in, hook up, am hooking up to this sewer connection when the guy next door comes over and says that's NOT a swer hookup! He says there are NO sewer hookups at the horse park campground. So I go ask at the front office and she says that is true! No sewer! So I ask "What is this sewer looking hookup, then, in my campsite?" She says it's a water access port! HUH!?!?! Imagine if I had DUMPED my tank in this thing! LOLOLOL!!!!!  She said "It wouldn't be the first time!" Now I've been to the horse park camping many times but in our T@B which didn't need hookups so never paid attention to it and when we were here earlier this year in the Spring the RV's were still Winterized so no need for hookups then, either so didn't pay attention to it then, either. Oh well. Live and learn, as they say...

They had some kind of Medieval event going on and we caught these riders coming through -

Big chair! REALLY big chair. John thought I should buy it for the concert that evening. HA!

This was a pretty cool horse trailer/RV with a A-Liner-type top to it.

 The concert!

John, Suzie, Carie, Alan...

Everette Harp was unbelievable on the Sax and Jeff Lorber was just as spectacular on the keyboards, at times playing TWO keyboards at once!
