2019-05-04 Urban Air - Logan, OH

We attended the Urban Air event again this year in Logan, OH. The idea is to bring our business (and others) to a depressed town to help revitalize it and it seems to work and the businesses love it. There are food trucks, live music, etc. which all helps to attract people and more business brought to the area for the event. The theme last year was Appalacia and this year it was astronomy. Many participant decorate their Airstreams in what they call "Pimp Your Blimp" to the theme with planets, stars, NASA, aliens, etc. The Airstreams are set up all down Main St. and some side streets. It's quite a sight to behold!

The last remaining washboard company in the U.S. is located here in Logan, OH and we toured it. The have only three employees doing the assembly and really doing everything wearing many different hats as they say...

The whole group tried playing the washboards together and it was quite entertaining!
