2018-10-27 T@B & Friends Fall Rally

Some of our T@B friends started a new group late this Summer called T@B & Friends (on Facebook) and although at this point it's mostly T@B's any RV is welcome and at this rally we even met another Airstreamer (in a 2017 22' Bambi Sport) who is not in our NOVA unit. Although I did try to talk her into joining which she may do after she does some more investigating into it and the WBCCI  ;-)  Our T@B friend Dawn started this new group and so far it's a lot of fun having now attended two of the rallies. This rally was at Alum Creek State Park just North of Columbus, OH and it was cold & rainy with a slight wind and it was wonderful.  :-)  The wind wasn't too bad, though, and wind is what really makes a cold rally miserable. No worries, though, with campfires, heaters and warm food, friends & drinks. No events were planned and we all hung out together and chatted up a storm especially late into Saturday night. Saturday some folks ventured out to see the surrounding area and most folks lived locally to the Columbus area. I think we had eight couples/RV's. Well saying couples is a loose term as the common theme was most of the husbands weren't into camping this weekend so they did not join us so was mostly women. I think only three couples had husbands attend. There were 11 rigs originally signed up to attend and a few cancelled last minute.

Some of us chatting around Signe's T@B, where most of the gathering took place in her clam tent room.

Signe's clam shell T@B is a one of a kind as it has the "Tabitha" model and this is the only Tabitha model ever built in a clam shell!
 Notice the Tabitha custom cabinets!

2018-10-08 Airstream Factory Rally

Friends Ella & Tom hosted a great rally at the Airstream factory's Terra Port campground last week in Jackson Center, OH. The rally went from Wednesday through Sunday. It was a lot of fun with tours and informative sessions with employees.
