2020-03-14 Winton Woods

Happy Spring! Well, almost. We went local this weekend. Winton Woods. A great campground. We were getting pretty sick of Winter and it was time to get out. Glad we did. It was just me & Carie reconnecting and having fun. Oh, and our cats! Yes, we brought both cats with us camping this time. They are indoor cats only so a little nervous about them escaping the Airstream, but they never have attempted to bolt at home when the doors are open so thinking they'll be pretty good about it in the Airstream, too. Callie was great and this being her second time camping she got reacquainted with the Airstream pretty quickly. Gracie was a little freaked out by it all but did well overall. Her first time camping. She did whine, meow and cry quite a bit the first night keeping us up on and off most of the night, so that wasn't great. Second night she did a little better. We were supposed to be there from Thursday evening till Sunday morning but the forecast for Thursday night was "severe thunderstorms with large hail"! So I decided to eat the cost of the first night reservation and stay home. Airstream's & hail don't do well together. So I headed out to the campground Friday morning instead. Didn't get a ton of pictures this time out but please enjoy what I did get...
